About the Author
Drawing has been in my blood since childhood. Painting entered the mix in art school.
After my infant daughter suffered traumatic injury in a car accident, I
set my whole being to use art, music, language, travel, physical therapy
and lots of love
to help her recover.
This took a lot of energy; one of my touchstones was my work as an
artist.
Drawing and painting settled my heart and restored my confidence.
The characters in the eBooks came as a surprise to me; the pen followed
them onto the page. They were a conduit for the confusions and dilemmas
of life, its moods and faces, joys and
sorrows.
In a more contemplative vein, the paintings are an exploration of the
element of space and the luminous stillness which underlies all
experience. The prairie skies of my youth continue to inspire a sense of
ease and unimpeded vastness.
